Boston, Mass. (Jan. 31, 2024) – For the first-time in the event’s history, the Boys’ and Girls’ Junior International Miles will be run on separate days, highlighting the strength of both fields at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, organizers announced today.
The Junior International Boys’ Mile, set to go off on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. EST, will be free and open to the public and will be broadcast free of charge on New Balance’s YouTube Channel beginning at 7:20 p.m EST. Following the conclusion of the Junior Boys’ International Mile, several of the professional athletes featured in the main event program on Feb. 4 will be available for meet-and-greets and autographs, including Noah Lyles, Gabby Thomas and Jake Wightman.
The Junior International Girls’ Mile will go off at 3:50 p.m. EST as part of the main program of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on Sunday, Feb. 4, and will be made available online after the event has concluded.

The previously announced Ciara Mageean has withdrawn.
The 2024 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be shown live on NBC from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 4 and is a founding member of the World Athletics Indoor Tour. The series of the best indoor athletics events around the world awards overall tour winners $10,000 and a guaranteed spot at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland in March.
